There have been many cool sights in the various trailers for Avengers: Age of Ultron, but one of the most memorable is the shot of the Avengers all leaping into action as one united fighting force. It's a shot that just makes you want to shout "Avengers assemble!"
That image calls back to a great many iconic moments in the Avengers comics where Captain America and other heroes have rallied their team to battle a seemingly impossible foe. And no matter the odds, Earth's Mightiest Heroes always triumph. As we wait these last, few painful week until Age of Ultron finally hits theaters, we thought it would be fun to highlight our favorite images of the Avengers assembling. In order to keep things interesting, we limited ourselves to actual comic book pages rather than covers.
