J.J. Abrams on Star Wars 7 Fan Expectations

During today’s Star Wars Celebration, Director J.J. Abrams talked about expectations for the new film, and whether he’s afraid of disappointing fans.


“Well, we just will,” Abrams admitted. “There are moments where the pressure of what we’re doing, honoring the legacy, it’s the most important thing that we’re all working on.”


“There are moments of sheer horror, the reality is, I’ve never had more fun in my life working on anything.”


"I don’t think there’s anything more important in the Star Wars universe than the fans. We’re fans too. Everyone inside the Lucas Film organization are fans," Producer Kathleen Kennedy Added. "Everybody is a fans. Everybody has a Star Wars story. That generational experience is something that is really important and it’s everything in terms of the future of Star Wars."
