Tyler Perry has reportedly joined the cast of Paramount and Michael Bay's upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel.

According to Variety, the actor-comedian will play adversarial scientist Baxter Stockman in the film. In previous iterations of TMNT, Stockman is one of Shredder's henchmen, known for his creation of the Mousers. In some versions, the character also eventually mutates into the Fly.
