Unlock Demos of Classic Nintendo Games Using Amiibo Tap

Nintendo has revealed a way to use amiibo to unlock three-minute demos of its classic games.

It’s called Amiibo Tap: Nintendo’s Greatest Hits, and it’s coming this Spring as a free download for Wii U. When you tap your amiibo on the gamepad, you’ll unlock three-minute gameplay segments from one of the following classic games. If you tap multiple times, a different scene will be playable.

• Kirby’s Adventure


• Super Mario Bros.


• Donkey Kong
