Xbox 360 Preview Program users will have access to an update soon which will allow 2TB hard drive support on their Xbox 360 consoles.
The update also adds compatibility for up to two external hard drives in use at a time.
According to Major Nelson, larger external storage is one of the most requested features from Xbox 360 users.
Members of the Xbox Preview Program are the first to receive this update. It launches for the public later this year.
The Xbox Preview Program is similar to Microsoft's Windows Insider program, which grants members access to system updates ahead of everyone else.
