During today’s Nintendo Direct, the company revealed a new kind of Yoshi amiibo made specifically for the upcoming Yoshi’s Wooly World.
The best part: they’re made of yarn.
When you tap one of these soft amiibo on the WIi U gamepad, a second Yoshi appears alongside your character in the game. That ally can then be turned into a yarn ball to attack enemies or cross chasms.
“Even in single player, you won’t feel alone,” Nintendo said.
